Michael Bublé, tumangging mag-guest sa concert ni Sofronio Vasquez sa Pinas!?

MANILA, PhilippinesGrand winner ng The Voice USA at proud Pinoy Sofronio Vasquez had just one wish: to share the stage with his coach Michael Bublé here in the Philippines. But to the surprise of many, the Canadian crooner said no — for now.

In a recent media interview, Sofronio revealed that he’s been “kuliting” his mentor to fly back to Manila and guest in one of his local concerts. But the international superstar had other plans.

“Kinukulit ko siya, ‘Mag-guest ka naman sa concert ko,’ pero ayaw talaga niya,” Sofronio shared.

Bublé’s reason? “Because I want that when I come to your show, it has to be very particular and it has to be magical for the both of us,” he reportedly told Sofronio.

All in the Right Time – Bublé Style

While fans may feel disappointed, Sofronio made it clear: this isn’t a rejection, it’s a delay. The Grammy-winning singer wants to make sure their joint performance will be “big and magical.”

“He’s going to make it big for sure,” Sofronio said with confidence, hinting that a dream collab performance isn’t off the table — just not happening yet.

Sofronio x Bublé: The EP Is Coming

Though the stage collab is on hold, fans won’t be left empty-handed. Michael Bublé is producing Sofronio’s upcoming extended play (EP) — a huge milestone for the Filipino artist.

“I’m excited to share that Michael Bublé is producing my EP,” he said. The first track? A Christmas duet in English and Tagalog with Bublé himself.

“First time kong magsulat ng Tagalog lyrics,” Sofronio added, sharing that he worked closely with local musicians and songwriters in Manila for guidance.

Star-Powered Collabs Ahead

And that’s not all. The The Voice USA champ teased that collaborations with David Foster and Paul Anka are also in the works — plus, Michael Bublé is personally writing a song just for him.

“Nag-record na kami ng five songs pero meron pang isang kanta na isusulat talaga ni Michael Bublé for me,” he proudly revealed.

Sofronio made history as the first Filipino and Asian artist to win The Voice USA (Season 26) — and clearly, he’s just getting started.

Even if Bublé isn’t ready to hit the local stage yet, it’s only a matter of time before magic happens. And when it does, it won’t just be a concert — it’ll be a moment.
