Former sexy star Sabrina M has launched a blistering tirade against comedian-host Vice Ganda, accusing the “It’s Showtime” star of publicly humiliating her during his recent Araneta Coliseum concert — and of using insults as a livelihood.
In an emotional Facebook post on August 12, Sabrina fumed:
“Makapagpatawa ka lang kahit may matapakan kang tao??? Very wrong. Pwede kang magpatawa na walang lalaitin o matatapakan… From comedy bar to noontime show to concert… haist… VERY WRONG.”
Her remarks immediately stirred speculation online, with some assuming she was reacting to Vice’s controversial “jet ski holiday” joke about former President Rodrigo Duterte. But speaking exclusively to PEP.ph on August 13, Sabrina clarified: “Wala akong pakialam sa Duterte issue. Ang akin, personal ito.”
‘Pinaglaruan ako’
Sabrina claims Vice “played” with her reputation during a segment in his “Super Divas” concert with Regine Velasquez.
According to her, Vice asked Regine who her favorite Gen Z singer was. When Regine jokingly said “Sabrina,” Vice fired back:
“Sabrina M, yung nakaaway ni Rosanna Roces… at pustiso yung ngipin? Yung nahuli?”
The joke hit a nerve. “Bakit kailangan mong sabihin na nahuli? Tapos na ‘yon. I’m moving on,” Sabrina said.
She likened the incident to mocking Vice’s own family tragedy: “Kung siya ba, kung babalikan ko siya ng, ‘Yung tatay mo, binaril,’ matutuwa ba siya?”
‘That’s bullying’
For Sabrina, Vice’s joke was nothing less than bullying. “And just because si Vice Ganda ka, gaganyanin mo na lang yung mga tao? Pangit. Huwag kang mabuhay sa pang-iinsulto ng kapwa mo,” she declared.
She even suggested that Vice’s own past may explain his behavior. “Siguro nung bata siya, binu-bully siya, kaya ngayon gumaganti siya. Nambu-bully na rin siya ng kapwa niya.”
The actress said what made it worse was that her children also saw the moment, reopening old wounds from what she insists was a “frame-up” arrest years ago. “May trauma po ako sa pangyayaring ‘yon… hanggang ngayon, masakit pa rin.”
‘Hindi niya alam ang totoong nangyari’
Sabrina stressed that Vice doesn’t know the real story behind her arrest. “Hindi niya alam kung bakit ako na-frame up. Negative po ako sa lahat. Ang tagal na, pero binabalik niya pa.”
Her voice cracked with emotion as she imagined Vice’s joke spreading again online. “Na parang yung pagkabitaw niya ng ‘Si Sabrina, yung nahuli’… ganun lang ba kasimple sa kanya yun? Hindi niya alam ang impact sa akin.”
Despite the controversy, Vice Ganda has yet to publicly respond to Sabrina’s accusations. Online, fans are split — some defending Vice’s comedic style, others agreeing that “comedy shouldn’t come at someone else’s expense.”
