MANILA, Philippines – Actress Kim Rodriguez is keeping her lips sealed on swirling romance rumors linking her to a popular actor-turned-politician — and she’s perfectly fine with the mystery.
When asked directly by the press at a recent dental outreach program in Marikina, Kim gave a classic non-answer:
“No comment.”
But that wasn’t all. Speaking candidly, the actress explained why she chooses silence over spilling details.
“Nakikita ko naman ‘yun,” she said, referring to the speculation. “Pero kahit ano namang sabihin ko, hindi naman maniniwala ‘yung tao.”
She went on to describe the double standards public figures face, comparing it to people’s opinions on celebrity appearances.
“Kapag tumaba ka, may masasabi. Kapag pumayat ka, may masasabi pa rin. So mas pinili ko na lang manahimik,” she said.
“Deadma queen” mode activated
When asked if she’s bothered by the gossip, Kim brushed it off with ease:
“Oo naman. Deadma.”
The actress revealed that she’s become “immune” to showbiz controversies and has even embraced a bit of strategic mystery.
“May nag-advice nga sa akin na mas maganda maging mysterious ka na lang, hanggang maging curious na lang sila kung ano ba ang totoo,” she added with a knowing smile.
As for the alleged relationship? She’s not confirming — but she’s definitely not denying either.
