‘Unlimited Water Bombing From Chinese Vessels’: Vice Ganda’s Full ‘Jet Ski’ Parody That Has Duterte Supporters Fuming

Vice Ganda has sparked a political firestorm after delivering a sharp-edged parody at his August 8 concert — mocking former President Rodrigo Duterte’s famous 2016 “jet ski” pledge.

Dressed in a sparkly pink leotard and bright pink wig, the comedian took the stage with backup dancers holding a “Jet ski holiday” banner and delivered a satirical sales pitch:

“Nothing beats a jet ski holiday, right now from Manila to the West Philippine Sea via jet ski. Get unlimited water bombing from Chinese vessels and a free trip to The Hague by the ICC (International Criminal Court). Promo applies to DDS only. Pinklawans and BBMs are prohibited. Huwag niyo akong subukan, mga pu****i** niyo.”

The profanity-laced punchline drew loud laughter from the audience — but also fierce criticism online, particularly from Duterte loyalists who said he had “crossed the line.”

Parody Rooted in Duterte’s Own Words
The skit referenced Duterte’s campaign promise to personally ride a jet ski to the disputed Spratly Islands to plant the Philippine flag — a remark the former president later admitted was hyperbole.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro came to Vice Ganda’s defence, saying: “This is not a made-up story… this came from former President Duterte himself, so don’t be offended, DDS.”

Still, allies like former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque accused Vice of “kicking someone who was already down,” referring to Duterte’s current legal troubles and advanced age.

The segment has since gone viral, with clips circulating across social media — and both praise and outrage pouring in.
